In this area different application versions of the Kiel Real-Time Application Toolkit (KiRAT) are available. They have no restrictions or limitations and could be download for free. The basic idea is to share common signal processing algorithms to the community. Every effort has been made to ensure that the offered versions run without any issues. Game for Parkinson Voice Training
The basic idea of this application is to help people with e.g. Parkinson disease by means of training them to speak louder. According to our experiences quite a lot of the Parkinson patients do not speak with enough loudness even if they think they do. Thus, this little game should help them to overcome that problem. Heart Measurements for School Events
Magnetic Heart Measurements
This application has been designed in order to introduce students to the idea of filters in signal progressing. It is a simplified version of the KiRAT application used to analyse biomagnetic heart signals. Using this context, students could be provided with such heart signals and apply both a highpass filter and a lowpass filter as well as experiment with detrending the signal. After successfully working with the application, the now modified signals could be used to diagnose anomalies or illnesses of the corresponding hearts.
